About Me

Hi, I'm Alanah! I am currently a student at Alverno College and am taking a microbiology course. So far in microbiology, some of the things we've learned are the history of microbiology, what microbes can do to benefit our bodies and how some microbes make our bodies sick. So I started to wonder, what microbes are involved in Crohn's Disease and what do they do?
I never really knew about Crohn's Disease until this past summer (summer of '14). I worked for a man whose daughter had a sever case of Crohn's. It was after him telling me a little bit about his daughter and her way of life living with this disease that I started to become interested in Crohn's.
